3. Location Data
Mealopia collects location data to make delivery work. Specifically, we use it for:
- Showing nearby restaurants and stores
- Calculating delivery distance and fees
- Tracking active deliveries in real time
- Improving the overall delivery experience
A rider’s live location is shared only during an active delivery — so a customer can follow their order on its way. When a rider is not on an active delivery, their live location is not shared with customers.
